Reference is made to Ralco Corporation Berhad's ("RCB" or "the Company") announcements dated 12 April 2019, 24 May 2019, 18 June 2019, 19 July 2019, 5 August 2019 and 11 September 2019 in relation to the above Suit. Unless otherwise stated, the definitions and terms used herein shall have the same meaning as defined in the earlier announcements.
The Board of Directors of the Company wishes to announce to the Exchange that on 7 October 2019, the Court dismissed the Plaintiff's Applications for Summary Judgement and Striking Out and directed the Parties to proceed to trial.
The next Case Management has been fixed on 30 October 2019 for futher directions in regards to the trial while pending the Parties to file their amended replies.
The Company will make the necessary announcements on further developments of the above matter as and when necessary.
