ICULS holders who submit their ICULS Conversion Notice(s) to the Company's Share Registrar, Berjaya Registration Services Sdn. Bhd. on or before 19 February 2020 will not be entitled to the interest payment.
ICULS interest payable to individual resident is tax exempted but interest payable to corporate resident will be subject to tax under the Income Tax Act 1967 ("ITA"). The withholding tax rate for interest payment under Section 109 of ITA is 15%, however, lower withholding tax rate is available depending on the double tax agreement signed between countries. |
