UEM Edgenta had, at its 56th Annual General Meeting held on 15 May 2019, obtained a mandate from its shareholders for UEM Edgenta and its subsidiaries (“UEM Edgenta Group”) to enter into recurrent related party transactions of revenue or trading nature (“RRPT”) which are necessary for UEM Edgenta Group’s day-to-day operations.
Pursuant to Paragraph 10.09(2)(e) of the Main Market Listing Requirements of Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad, the Company wishes to announce that the actual value of the RRPT between UEM Edgenta Group and UEM Sunrise Berhad and its subsidiaries has exceeded the estimated value of RRPT disclosed in the Circular to Shareholders dated 16 April 2019 (“Circular”) by more than 10%.
