The Board of Directors of IREKA wishes to announce that the Company had on 21 October 2020 received a notice in writing dated 21 October 2020 from Messrs. RSL PLT ("RSL") on their resignation as Auditors of the Company.

The resignation of RSL is due to the sanction imposed by the Securities Commission Malaysia's Audit Oversight Board prohibiting RSL from accepting clients and auditing public interest entities or schedule funds for a period of twelve (12) months, commencing from 1 November 2020.

Pursuant to Section 281(2) of the Companies Act 2016, RSL's term of office shall end after twenty-one (21) days from 21 October 2020.

Save for the above, the Board is not aware of any matters that required to be brought to the attention of the shareholders of the Company.

Further announcement will be made by the Company on the appointment of a replacement Auditors in due course.
