The Company wishes to announce that on 5 November 2020, the Liquidator has submitted an application to the High Court of Malaya at Kuala Lumpur under Section 487(3) of the Companies Act 2016, Rules 113, 116 and 122 of the Companies (Winding-Up) Rules 1972 for the following orders:

(1)     That Mr Lim San Peen (in his capacity as Liquidator of the Company) be allowed to hold the meetings of creditors and contributories of the Company, whether as the original meeting or adjourned meeting (“Meetings of Creditors and Contributories”) using any technology or method that enables the creditors and contributories of the Company to participate and to vote at the meeting, including but not limited to any remote communication technology such as a live video link or other electronic means of communication;

(2)     The costs of this application and the costs and expenses incurred for holding the Meetings of Creditors and Contributories shall be treated as the costs and expenses of winding up under section 527(1)(a) of the Companies Act 2016;

(3)     That the Liquidator be at liberty to apply, including but not limited to liberty to seek any further directions; and

(4)     Such further or other relief as deemed fit by this Honourable Court.

The application has been fixed for hearing on 10 November 2020 at 10:00 a.m.

The Company will make the necessary announcement to Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad as and when there are further developments in relation thereof.
