Further to the announcements made on 8 January 2021 and 15 January 2021, the Board of Directors of SKP wishes to inform that we have commence with the disinfection and deep cleaning of all our Johor Bahru operations.

We have earlier announced on 15 January 2021, that the capacity loss is estimated to be 3% of the Group total annual output. However, our other production facilities which are located at other different cities continue to operate as normal.

The temporary shutdown of our Johor Bahru operations is expected to cause some delay in our delivery schedule for two weeks. We estimate about 3% of our sales revenue to be impacted for the financial year ending 31 March 2021.

We will continue to work closely with Ministry of Health (“MOH”) during this shut down period. The Company will adhere to COVID-19 preventive standard operating procedures issued by the relevant authorities from time to time to ensure the safety of all our employees.

The Company will continue to monitor the situation and provide updates on the matter in due course.
