| Working experience and occupation | Tunku Abang Faisal Amir Bin Abang Abu Bakar ("Tunku Abang Faisal Amir") is a highly regarded member of the insurance industry. He commenced his career at Malene Insurance Brokers Sdn. Bhd. ("Malene"), a specialist energy insurance broking firm in 2001. He subsequently grew Malene into a full service insurance broking firm.
In 2019 he was instrumental in the successful merger of Malene with Howden Insurance Brokers Sdn. Bhd. ("Howden"), transforming the merged entity into one of the largest insurance brokers in Malaysia.
In his current role as Chairman of Howden Malaysia, his specific responsibilities include strategy and client development as well as senior client relationship management.
