Pursuant to paragraph 3.1 of the Practice Note 11 of the Main Market Listing Requirements of Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad (“MMLR”), the Board of TA Enterprise Berhad (“the Company”) wishes to announce the following provision of financial assistance provided by TA Capital Sdn Bhd (“TAC”) and TA First Credit Sdn Bhd (“TAFC”), moneylending subsidiaries of the Company during the reporting quarter ended 31 December 2020:-

1. TAC had provided new financial assistance during the reporting quarter as stated below:-

    (a) Staff loan facility amounting to RM 23,000.00;

    (b) Term loan facility amounting to RM 928,353.75; and

    (c) ESOS loan facility amounting to RM 90,585.00.

 The aforesaid provision of financial assistance has increased the Group’s earnings and net asset for the financial quarter ended 31 December 2020 by the interest earned of RM22,386.02.

2. TAFC has not provided any new financial assistance during the reporting period.

Save as disclosed above, none of the Directors, substantial shareholders and persons connected with the Directors and substantial shareholders of the Company has any interest, whether direct or indirect, in the aforesaid provision of financial assistance.

The Board also wishes to furnish the quarterly disclosure for TAC and TAFC for the quarter ended 31 December 2020 in accordance with paragraph 3.3 of the Practice Note 11 of the MMLR as attached. This has been separately announced earlier on 12 January 2021, pursuant to paragraph 8.23(2)(e) of the MMLR.
