Amid the surge of Covid-19 cases in Malaysia and the implementation of the Movement Control Order 2.0 ("MCO 2.0") by the Government of Malaysia effective from 13 January 2021 and further extended to 4 March 2021. Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad (“Bursa Securities”) had vide its letter dated 17 February 2021 granted a 1-month extension of time (“EOT”) for issuance of the quarterly reports (“QR”) up till 31 March 2021 and annual reports that include annual audited financial statements and the auditors' and directors' reports (“AR”) up till 31 May 2021 for the listed corporations to issue their QR and AR, which are originally due by 28 February 2021 and 30 April 2021, respectively.

In view of this, the Board of Directors of MCT wishes to announce that the Company will utilise the EOT granted by Bursa Securities for the issuance of its QR and AR for the financial year ended 31 December 2020 by 31 March 2021 and 31 May 2021, respectively.
