MAXIS-C17 - Notice of Book Closure

ADJUSTMENTS TO THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF THE NON-COLLATERALISED EUROPEAN-STYLE CASH SETTLED CALL WARRANTS OVER ORDINARY SHARES OF MAXIS BERHAD ("MAXIS") ("MAXIS-C17") PURSUANT TO A SPECIAL INTERIM DIVIDEND OF 1 SEN PER ORDINARY SHARE
 

Kindly be advised of the following : 

1)  The above Company's securities will be traded and quoted "Ex - Adjustment” as from: 12 Mar 2021
2)  The last date of lodgment : 15 Mar 2021
 

Remarks: 

In accordance with Condition 2 - Adjustment of Exercise Price, Underlying Index, Exercise Level and/or Exercise Ratio of the Part 1 of the Deed Poll dated 22 October 2019, the Exercise Ratio and Exercise Price of MAXIS-C17 will be adjusted in accordance with the following formula:

Adjustment pursuant to Special Dividend

1. Adjusted Exercise Ratio = E x (P - D) / P

2. Adjusted Exercise Price = X x (P - D) / P

Whereby in respect of this Condition 2.1.1(d)(i) and (ii):

P: Closing price of MAXIS on the last market day on which MAXIS is traded on a cum-entitlement basis.

D: RM0.0100, being the Special Dividend per MAXIS share

X: RM5.7000, being the existing Exercise Price immediately prior to the Special Dividend

E: 5.0000, being the existing Exercise Ratio immediately prior to the Special Dividend

No adjustments shall be made to the Exercise Ratio and/or Exercise Price of MAXIS-C17 if such adjustments would amount to less than two percent (2%) of the Exercise Ratio and/or Exercise Price being changed.

For avoidance of doubt, reference should be made to the Base Prospectus and the terms and conditions therein shall prevail.

RHBIB, as the issuer of MAXIS-C17, will make a further announcement should there be any updates in due course.
