Reference is made to the announcements on 1 April 2021 and 2 April 2021 in relation to the Proposed Private Placement. Unless otherwise defined, the definitions set out in the previous announcements shall apply herein.

On behalf of the Board, AmInvestment Bank wishes to announce that the Board had on 5 April 2021 (“Price-Fixing Date”) fixed the issue price for 300,000,000 Placement Shares at RM2.75 per Placement Share.

The issue price of RM2.75 per Placement Share represents a discount of 7.44% to the 5-day VWAP of AMMB Shares up to and including 2 April 2021, being the market day immediately before the Price-Fixing Date, of RM2.9711 per AMMB Share.

The Company is pleased to announce that the Proposed Private Placement have been over-subscribed, generating interest from a strong group of diverse investors. This demonstrates a confidence of the investing community on AMMB’s resilience to provide a stable earnings growth for all stakeholders.
