In line with the Malaysian Government’s Movement Control Order 3.0 (“MCO 3.0”) standard operating procedures which have been implemented from 1 June 2021 to 14 June 2021 to curb the sharp rise in Covid-19 infections in the country, HEINEKEN Malaysia has temporary suspended the operations of the Sungei Way Brewery.

The mandatory closures and restrictions pursuant to the MCO 3.0 are expected to have a significant impact on the market in general as well as the Company’s operations and business. Appropriate measures will be undertaken by the Company to mitigate the impact from the current situation and any developments.

The Company will make the necessary announcement on any material developments relating to the above matter, as and when appropriate.
