Reference is made to HAILY’s initial public offering (“IPO”) prospectus dated 30 June 2021 (“IPO Prospectus”) that was issued in conjunction with the listing of and quotation for the Company’s entire issued share capital on the ACE Market of Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad (“Bursa Securities”) on 21 July 2021.We refer to the Company’s initial public offering (“IPO”) prospectus dated 30 June 2021 (“IPO Prospectus”) that was issued in conjunction with the listing of and quotation for the Company’s entire issued share capital on the ACE Market of Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad (“Bursa Securities”) on 21 July 2021.

As stated in Section 7.17 – Interruptions to business and operations of the IPO Prospectus, under the three-phase nationwide lockdown announced by the Government on 28 May 2021 (“Full MCO 3.0), the construction industry was not regarded as an essential service. In this respect, all of HAILY and its subsidiaries (“Group”)’s on-site construction activities were suspended. The Group have on 2 June 2021 submitted its application to the Ministry of International Trade and Industry (“MITI”) for resumption of works.

The Board of Directors of HAILY wishes to announce that MITI had via its letters dated 25 July 2021 and 26 July 2021, granted approval to the Group for the resumption of its on-site construction activities on the following project sites:-

1. 128 DSTH Taman Impian Emas Project;

2. 264 DSTH Bandar Jaya Putra Project;

3. Taman Ungku Tun Aminah - Zone 13 Project;

4. 185 DSTH Meridin East - Parcel 1I Project;

5. 120 SSTH Bandar Putra Project;

6. AME Dormitory Project;

7. 147 DSTV Aurora Sentral Project; and

8. Aurora Sentral Clubhouse Project.

The Group will resume its on-site construction activities on the above mentioned 8 projects sites with effect from 26 July 2021.

As at the date of this announcement, the remaining 12 out of 20 on-site construction activities are still suspended. Further developments in relation to the decision from MITI for the remaining project sites will be announced from time to time.
