Reference is made to the Company's announcements dated 26 October 2020, 28 October 2020, 30 October 2020, 26 November 2020, 24 December 2020, 12 January 2021, 2 February 2021, 4 March 2021 and 5 May 2021 in relation to the Notice of Arbitration dated 26 October 2020 issued by the Company's wholly-owned subsidiary, Puncak Niaga Construction Sdn Bhd ("PNCSB") against Mersing Construction and Engineering Sdn Bhd (“Mersing”) and PNCSB's application to the Kuala Lumpur High Court to stay the Adjudication Decision dated 4 August 2020 pending the final determination of the dispute between PNCSB and Mersing by arbitration ("Stay Application"), the  Kuala Lumpur High Court’s decision dated 24 December 2020 to dismiss the Stay Application (“Kuala Lumpur High Court’s Decision on Stay Application”) and PNCSB’s appeal filed to the Court of Appeal on the Kuala Lumpur High Court’s Decision on the Stay Application (“PNCSB’s Appeal on Kuala Lumpur High Court’s Decision on Stay Application”) on 12 January 2021.

Puncak wishes to announce to the Exchange that at the case management of PNCSB’s Appeal on Kuala Lumpur High Court’s Decision on Stay Application at the Court of Appeal today, the Court of Appeal fixed the next case management on PNCSB's Appeal on Kuala Lumpur High Court's Decision on Stay Application on 6 October 2021.
