On 19 July 2021, the Board of Directors ("Board") of Widetech (Malaysia) Berhad ("Company" or "Widetech") had announced that the Company proposed to change its name from "Widetech (Malaysia) Berhad" to "Gametech Global Berhad". 
The Board wishes to announce that the Company is proposing to change its name to "MyTech Group Berhad" instead of "Gametech Global Berhad" to better reflect a broad differentiation strategy across Widetech Group's business moving forward.
The Proposed Change of Name to "MyTech Group Berhad" is subject to the approval of the Company's shareholders at the postponed Thirty-Seventh Annual General Meeting to be convened at a date to be announced later.
