Unless otherwise defined, the definitions used in this announcement shall have the same meaning as those defined in the announcements made on 3 June 2021, 22 June 2021, 14 July 2021, 4 August 2021, 6 August 2021, 7 September 2021, 8 September 2021 (in respect of the circular to the shareholders dated 8 September 2021), 30 September 2021 and 1 October 2021 in relation to the SCR (“Announcements”).

We refer to the Announcements in relation to the SCR.

On behalf of MMC, RHB Investment Bank wishes to announce that the High Court had on 1 November 2021 granted the Order confirming the reduction of the issued share capital of the Company pursuant to Section 116 of the Act.

Following the above, MMC will lodge an office copy of the Order with the Registrar of Companies pursuant to Section 116(6) of the Act (“Lodgment”) in due course. The SCR will become effective upon the Lodgment (“Effective Date”). For the avoidance of doubt, the Effective Date shall be the same day as the entitlement date in respect of the SCR.

The entitlement date in respect of the SCR will be announced in due course.
