The Board of Directors of ATECH  ("Board") with deep sadness wishes to announce that Mr Lee Chong Yeow @ Lee Chong Yan, our Non-Independent Executive Director and Group Chief Executive Officer, has passed away on Monday, 24 January 2022.

The Board expresses its deepest condolences to his family. Mr Lee Chong Yeow, fondly known as CY, the Chief Executive Officer of BCM Electronics Corporation Sdn Bhd, a wholly owned subsidiary of the Company, for the past 17 years. CY led the organisation with great passion and dedication.

The Board also expresses its sincere posthumous gratitude for Mr Lee Chong Yeow’s leadership and contribution, including the conceiving and co-founding of ATECH.

The Board wishes to also announce the appointment of Mr Loh Hock Chiang as the Interim Group Chief Executive Officer of the Company, and continue his role as the Group Chief Financial Officer of the Company. The Board will evaluate future appointment in due course.
