The Board of Directors of KPower (“Board”) is pleased to announce that its wholly owned subsidiary, KPower Engineering Sdn Bhd (“KPEng”), together with Tellhow International Engineering & Contracting Co., Ltd (“Tellhow”), (the “Consortium”) (collectively referred to as “EPCC Contractor”) had on 18 February 2022 received and accepted the letter of award from One River Power Sdn. Bhd. (“ORP”) to take-over and complete the engineering, design, procurement, construction, and commissioning of small hydro power plants in Sg. Bengkoka Upper, Sg. Bengkoka Lower and Sg. Togohu in Kota Marudu, Sabah, with total capacity of 29.1 MW (“Project”) (“Award”) for a total contract price of RM70,000,000 (“Contract Price”).

The Consortium and ORP shall enter into a contract within thirty (30) business days from the date of the Award or such other extended period as determined by ORP (“EPCC Contract”). The technical requirements of Tenaga Nasional Berhad on the interconnection facilities, specifications and/or drawings relating to the Project shall be included in the EPCC Contract.
