The Board of Directors of Pekat Group Berhad ("Pekat" or "the Company") is pleased to announce the appointment of the following persons as the Chief Executive Officer, Chief Operating Officer and Chief Commercial Officer respectively, with effect from 15 April 2022:
1. Mr Chin Soo Mau ("Mr Chin") as Chief Executive Officer
Mr Chin, male, a Malaysian, aged 49 is appointed as the Chief Executive Officer of Pekat. He was appointed as the Managing Director of Pekat on 17 September 2020, prior to its listing to the ACE Market of Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad (“Bursa Securities”) and will continue his present position as the Managing Director of the Company.
2. Mr Tai Yee Chee ("Mr Tai") as Chief Operating Officer
Mr Tai, male, a Malaysian, aged 50 is appointed as the Chief Operating Officer of Pekat. He was appointed as the Executive Director of Pekat on 17 September 2020, prior to its listing to the ACE Market of Bursa Securities and will continue his present position as the Executive Director of the Company.
3. Mr Wee Chek Aik ("Mr Wee") as Chief Commercial Officer
Mr Wee, male, a Malaysian, aged 50 is appointed as the Chief Commercial Officer of Pekat. He was appointed as the Executive Director of Pekat on 17 September 2020, prior to its listing to the ACE Market of Bursa Securities and will continue his present position as the Executive Director of the Company.
Mr Chin, Mr Tai and Mr Wee are the Company's promoters and major/ substantial shareholders of the Company. Their shareholdings are as follows:
