| Working experience and occupation | Tan Sri Md Nor bin Md Yusof (Tan Sri Md Nor) had spent a significant amount of his working career with CIMB Group as a Chairman and more notably as Chief Executive Officer of Bank of Commerce (M) Berhad (now known as CIMB Bank Berhad). During that period, he attended a Harvard University special course on Banking and Monetary Policy in Developing Countries. Tan Sri Md Nor completed his term as Executive Chairman of Securities Commission (SC) on 31 March 2006, having served SC for three (3) years. Prior to that, he was the Managing Director of Malaysian Airline Berhad after serving a period as Advisor in the Ministry of Finance. He also served as a Chairman of CIMB Foundation, Lembaga Tabung Haji, Executive Committee in Khazanah Nasional Berhad and Pelaburan Hartanah Berhad. He currently sits as Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Yayasan Hasanah. |
