The Board of Directors of Malayan Cement Berhad (the “Company”) wishes to announce that the Company intends to seek shareholders’ approval at the forthcoming Seventy-Second Annual General Meeting of the Company for:

(i) the proposed renewal of share buy-back authority;

(ii) the proposed renewal of shareholder mandate for RRPT

(collectively, the “Proposals”).

A statement/circular containing details of the Proposals will be made available to shareholders in due course.
