| Working experience and occupation | Dr Chong started his career in 1998 working as process engineer in semi-conductor multi-national company in Melaka. From 1999 to 2007, he worked as lecturer and senior lecturer of engineering faculty in Multimedia University (MMU). He ceased working as academician in 2007 and ventured into financial planning, business and consulting services. From 2007 to present, he worked as Director in financial and business consulting firm. He has over fifteen (15) years working experiences in financial planning, business and consulting services specialising in private equity and mergers and acquisitions (M&A).
