Further to the announcement on delay in submission of the unaudited quarterly report dated 1 June 2017 and the query by Bursa Securities on the following, the Company wishes to announce that: (1) due to the expiry of the contract of employment of the Chief Financial Officer ("CFO") on 30 April 2017 and pending finding a suitable replacement coupled with the sudden resignation of the Independent Director who was the Chairman of the Audit Committee on 29 May 2017, the Company was unable to complete the preparation of the Third Quarter Results in time for submission within the relevant timeframe for announcement of the quarterly report by 31 May 2017; (2) barring any unforeseen circumstances, it is expected that by middle of July 2017, the Company should be able to issue the outstanding Third Quarter Results; and (3) the Company is sourcing for suitable candidate to fill the vacancies of the CFO and Independent Director and hopes to be able to fill the vacancies within the month of June 2017 as it is not very easy to get suitable candidates to fill the vacancies. |
