Reference is made to the announcement dated 3 April 2023 in relation to the Proposed Acquisition (reference number: GA1-03042023-00034) (Announcement). We wish to announce that the Subject of the Announcement should be read as Related Party Transactions instead of Non Related Party Transactions.

Please refer to the following for the additional information:

1. Source of Funding

    The Purchase Price of RM1.00 will be paid by cash from the Company's internally generated funds.

2. Liability to be assumed

    There are no liability and/or guarantee to be assumed by LHB arising from the Proposed Acquisition.

3. Audit Committee's Statement

    The Audit Committee of LHB, after having considered all relevant aspects of the Proposed Acquisition, is of the opinion that the Proposed Acquisition:

    (i) Is in the best interest of LHB;

    (ii) Fair, reasonable and on normal commercial terms; and

    (iii) Not detrimental to the interest of the non-interested shareholders of the Company.
