Reference is made to the announcements dated 26 August 2016, 20 September 2016 and 11 November 2016 in respect of the notices issued by Tenaga Nasional Berhad on the Company’s wholly-owned subsidiary, Perwaja Steel Sdn Bhd (“PSSB”) pursuant to the Section Section 218 of the Companies Act, 1965.

The Board of Directors of the Company wishes to announce that the Kuala Lumpur High Court had taken cognisance of the restraining order granted to PSSB announced on 8 February 2017 and granted an adjournment of the hearing of the winding up petitions to 15 May 2017.

Further announcement on the development of the petitions will be made to Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad in due course.
