Further to the Company's annoucement made on 8 February 2017 in respect of the aforesaid matter, the Board of Directors of Perwaja Holdings Berhad ("PHB") wishes to announce the following additional information: 1. The operational impact of the Writ of Summons and Statement of Claims on PHB. Reply: As PHB and its subsidiaries ("Group") have ceased operations since August 2013, there will be no operational impact of the Writ Of Summons and Statement of Claims on the Group. 2. The steps taken and proposed to be taken in respect of the Writ of Summons and Statement of Claims. Reply: With regards to the said Suit by Syarikat Air Terengganu Sdn Bhd, please note that a Restraining Order has been obtained on 7 February 2017 pursuant to Section 366(1) and 368(1) of the Companies Act 2016 with the effect of restraining any and/or all proceedings against Perwaja Steel Sdn Bhd ("PSSB"). By reason thereof, PSSB has instructed its solicitors to appear and inform the High Court of Kuala Terengganu on the same issue. Further announcement on the development of the above matter will be announced in due course. This announcement is dated 14 February 2017.
