Unless otherwise stated, all definitions used in this announcement shall carry the same meaning as defined in the announcements dated 24 October 2016 and 23 November 2016 in relation to the Offer.

We refer to the announcements dated 24 October 2016, 23 November 2016, 5 December 2016, 16 December 2016, 21 December 2016, 22 December 2016, 28 December 2016 and 4 January 2017 made by HLRB in relation to the Offer.

The Board wishes to announce that the Board has today received the attached press notice from AmInvestment Bank, on behalf of the Joint Offerors, informing that the Joint Offerors have today, despatched to the holders of the Offer Shares who have not accepted the Offer (“Dissenting Shareholders”) (whose names appear on HLRB’s register of members as at 5.00 p.m. (Malaysian time) on Wednesday, 4 January 2017), the Notice in pursuance of Section 222 of the Capital Markets and Services Act, 2007 (“CMSA”) stating the Joint Offerors’ desire to compulsorily acquire the remaining Offer Shares held by the Dissenting Shareholders. The statutory declarations by the Joint Offerors stating that the conditions for the despatch of the Notice have been satisfied were also despatched together with the Notice.
