Reference is made to the Company’s announcements dated 13 July 2023 and 17 July 2023 (Announcements) in relation to the Clarification on the News Articles.

 

(The abbreviations used herein are consistent with those stated in the Announcements unless defined otherwise.)

 

The Board of the Company wishes to announce the following additional information:

1. As Datuk Wira Justin Lim (CEO) had been continuously absent from work, the Board had on 18 July 2023 resolved by the majority to:

  • (a) demand the CEO to return to the office within 1 week;
  • (b) instruct the CEO to immediately give a written response to the Board;
  • (c) instruct the CEO to update the entire board in writing on what he had been doing in detail for and on behalf of the company on a weekly basis.
  • After the above, the Company issued a Misconduct Notice dated 20 July 2023 to the CEO and awaiting his response.

2. There is no impact on the operation so far, as Mr. Tan Fie Jen had been handling day to day operation of the Company's core business even before the appointment of the CEO.
