The terms used herein, unless the context otherwise stated, shall bear the same meaning as those defined in the previous announcement in relation to the Compulsory Acquisition. We refer to the announcement dated 18 May 2016 in relation to the Compulsory Acquisition. The Board of Directors of Malaysia Packaging Industry Berhad (“Maypak” or "the Company") wishes to announce that the Company had submitted a claim for the compensation in accordance with the Land Acquisition Act, 1960. The Pentadbir Tanah Wilayah Persekutuan Kuala Lumpur (“Land Administrator”) has on 24 November 2016 served on the Company a Notice of Award in Form H to award a compensation of RM87,548,000.00. The Company will make further announcement as and when there are material developments in due course. This announcement is dated 24 November 2016. |
