YHM Tengku Dato' Indera Abu Bakar Ahmad bin Almarhum Tengku Tan Sri Abdullah has been the Executive Chairman in FOMEMA Sdn Bhd, which operates a foreign workers medical examination screening system in Peninsular Malaysia since July 2016 where he oversees the operations of the company. 

He also an Executive Director of Bookdoc Holdings Berhad which operates a mobile application connecting patients with medical professionals since March 2019.  

Presently, he is an Independent Non-Executive Director of Central Global Berhad, a public company listed on the Main Market of Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad, principally involved in manufacturing and construction. 

He is also an Independent Non-Executive Chairman of Wellspire Holdings Berhad, a public company listed on the ACE Market of Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad. The principal activities of Wellspire Holdings Berhad include the distribution and online retailer of consumer-packaged foods.
