The Board of Directors of Citaglobal (“Board”) wishes to announce that the Company for and on behalf of its wholly owned subsidiary, Citaglobal Energy Sdn. Bhd. (formerly known as WZS Misi Setia Sdn. Bhd.) (“CESB”), its 50:50 joint control company, Citaglobal Genetec BESS Sdn. Bhd. (“CG BESS”) and its wholly owned subsidiary, Citaglobal Powergen Sdn. Bhd. (formerly known as WZS Powergen Sdn. Bhd.) (“CPGSB”) (collectively, Citaglobal and its group of companies (“Citaglobal Group”)) had on 27 July 2023, entered into a memorandum of understanding (“MOU”) with Abu Dhabi Future Energy Company PJSC - Masdar (“Masdar”) (collectively, Citaglobal Group and Masdar are referred to as “Parties” hereafter) in relation to a proposed strategic collaboration in the areas of joint development of renewable energy projects (“Proposed Collaboration”).
