The Board of Directors wishes to announce that MY EG International Sdn. Bhd., a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Company had on 21 November 2019, incorporated a wholly owned subsidiary known as MY EG (Philippines) Sdn. Bhd. (“MYEGPHP”) under the Companies Act 2016.
The intended principal activity of MYEGPHP is investment holding specifically for investments in the Republic of the Philippines.
The above incorporation does not have any effect on the issued and paid-up share capital of the Company and has no material effect on the earnings and net assets of the Company and its subsidiaries for the financial period ending 31 December 2019.
None of the directors and/or substantial shareholders of the Company, or persons connected to such director and/or substantial shareholder has any interest, direct or indirect, in the said incorporation.
