Malacca Securities had on 30 October 2023, on behalf of the Board, withdrawn the regularisation plan application submitted to Bursa Securities on 14 November 2022 and submitted an extension of time application, for an extension of time of 6 months up to 30 April 2024 for Barakah to submit its regularisation plan.

Bursa Securities had vide its letter dated 21 November 2023 approved an extension of time up to 30 April 2024 for Barakah to submit its regularisation plan to the relevant regulatory authorities.

On behalf of the Board, Malacca Securities wishes to inform that the Company is still in the midst of formulating the regularisation plan. Further announcement will be made to Bursa Securities with regards to the material development on the regularisation plan in due course.
