We wish to announce that SIME-C68 expired at 5.00 p.m. on 29 December 2023 ("Expiry Date"). The Cash Settlement Amount is as follows:
Cash Settlement Amount = Number of SIME-C68 x (Closing Price - Exercise Price) x (1/Exercise Ratio)
= Number of SIME-C68 x (RM2.3784 - RM2.10) x (1/1.50)
= Number of SIME-C68 x RM0.1856
The Closing Price of RM2.3784 was determined based on the arithmetic mean of daily volume weighted average market price of SIME shares for the 5 market days prior to and including the market day immediately before the Expiry Date.
The Cash Settlement Amount shall be made by way of cheque or such other mode as may be approved by Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad and determined by us, within 7 market days from the Expiry Date. The cheques will be delivered to holders of SIME-C68 by ordinary post.
