We refer to the announcements dated 16 April 2024, 22 April 2024, 13 May 2024, 20 May 2024 and 5 June 2024. Unless otherwise stated, the definitions and terms used herein shall have the same meaning as those defined in that announcement.
The Board of Directors of Comfort Gloves Berhad (“CGB”) wishes to announce that on 12 June 2024, CRGI attended a case management before the High Court. CRGI updated the Court that parties agreed and will take the necessary steps for both CRGI and GQ proceedings to be heard by one High Court judge to save time and resources. CRGI also updated the Court that the DGIR gave an undertaking to not proceed with any recovery action against GQ pending the disposal of the judicial review application for GQ, similar to that of CRGI. The High Court set the next case management on 25 June 2024 for CRGI to update the High Court on the status of the judicial review proceedings for CRGI and GQ.
The Company will provide updates from time to time of any material development on this matter.
