Pursuant to the letter from the Issuer to the Trustee dated 5 July 2024, the Issuer has decided to extend the deadline to submit the notice in relation to the option to waive (“Option to Waive”) (“Waiver Notice”) the Sukukholders’ rights, benefits and entitlements to the final periodic distribution and nominal value (in whole and not in part) in respect of the second IMTN issued on 8 August 2017 and maturing on 8 August 2024 from 3 July 2024, as mentioned in the informal meeting held via virtual conference call on 5 June 2024, to 5:00 p.m. on 26 July 2024 to allow more time for the Sukukholders to deliberate and decide whether or not they wish to exercise the Option to Waive. To recapitulate, the key time and dates in relation to the Option to Waive shall be as follows:

5:00 p.m., 26 July 2024 - Deadline to submit the Waiver Notice

1 August 2024 - Settlement Date, where the relevant Sukukholders’ Sukukholding will be transferred to Khazanah Nasional Berhad (as the obligor of the Sukuk Programme)

8 August 2024 - Scheduled Dissolution Date (or maturity date) of the Second IMTN
