| Working experience and occupation | Raja Azura was formerly the Chief Executive Officer of Yayasan Peneraju Pendidikan Bumiputera, one of the foundations initiated by the Government to strengthen the universal and sustainable development of Bumiputera capabilities in line with Malaysia's upgrading efforts towards high-income countries through academic education, professional and vocational certifications. She was the former Executive Vice President, Human Capital Division of Malaysia Airlines Berhad subsequent to her secondment to Khazanah Nasional Berhad as Senior Vice President, Strategic Human Capital Management. She had also served as Chief Internal Auditor, Audit and Business Advisory Department of Malaysia Airlines Berhad. Raja Azura also actively contributes in the internal audit profession, having served on the Board of Governors of the Institute of Internal Auditors Malaysia for three (3) years and was the Chairman of the International Association of Airline Internal Auditors. She previously served as a member of the Board of Directors of Malaysia Professional Accountancy Centre (MyPAC). She has received the Honoree of 2019 Influential Leader awarded by AACSB and the recipient of the Inaugural Malaysia Women of Excellence Award 2014 for the Quasi- Government category. Raja Azura has also received the Global HR Excellence Award 2011/12 conferred by World HRD Congress. |
