(Unless otherwise defined, the terms used herein shall have the same meanings as those defined in the announcements dated 7 May 2015, 18 May 2015, 3 June 2015, 23 July 2015, 31 October 2018, 16 November 2020 and 19 September 2022).
The Board of Directors is pleased to announce that Benalec Sdn Bhd, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Benalec, has withdrawn its application for the assessment of damages in its case in opposition to Sentosacove Sdn Bhd, with liberty to file afresh (which follows the Rules of Court or any extension allowed by the Court) and with no order as to costs.
The withdrawal of this suit will not have any effect on the share capital nor the substantial shareholders of Benalec. Such withdrawal of the suit will also have no material impact on the earnings, net assets and gearing of Benalec.
