Reference is made to the Company’s circular to shareholders dated 3 June 2021 (“Circular”) and the announcements dated 14 April 2021 and 16 August 2021 (collectively “Announcements”) in respect of the above matter. Unless otherwise stated, defined terms in this announcement shall carry the same meanings as defined in the Circular and the Announcements.

Further to the Company’s announcement on 22 April 2024, the Board of Directors of the Company is pleased to announce that Jayamas Mining Sdn. Bhd. and Spate Precious Metals Sdn. Bhd. had notified the Company on today that the Jabatan Mineral dan Geosains Kelantan i.e. the Kelantan Department of Mineral and Geoscience had, vide its letter dated 12 September 2024, approved the hard rock operational mining scheme (“OMS”) for a period of two (2) years, retrospectively from 13 August 2024 to 12 August 2026 encompassing the entire Sokor North Area measuring approximately 547.4 hectares, subject to the terms and conditions contained in the OMS.

As all the necessary approvals for the commencement of hard rock mining operation in Sokor North Area had been received, the Company will proceed with the construction of its first heap leach beneficiation facility and barring any unforeseen circumstance, the Company expects to commence full commissioning by fourth quarter of calendar year 2024.
