The Board of Directors of the Company wishes to announce that the Company’s Chief Operating Officer (“COO”), Mr. Tan Seng Pang is appointed as the Executive Director cum Chief Executive Officer (“CEO”) of Sin Lin Tek Electronic Co. Sdn. Bhd. (“SLT”), a 51% subsidiary of the Company with effect from 23 September 2024.

Further, Mr. Lim Aik Gee, the current Managing Director of SLT is re-designated to adviser of SLT and its subsidiaries and Mr. Lim Wai Keong, the son of Mr. Lim Aik Gee and currently, the Executive Director of SLT is re-designated to Non-Executive Director of SLT.

The Board deliberated that changes in key senior management are essential to expand the business and implement the Company’s strategic plan. These changes will streamline the organisational structure, optimise decision-making, and rationalise overhead costs, improving the financial performance of both Ta Win Group and SLT.

In view of that, the Board believes that the appointment of Mr. Tan Seng Pang as an Executive Director cum CEO will strengthen SLT’s leadership. He will oversee SLT’s operations and report to the Board of Ta Win Holdings Berhad, while Mr. Lim Aik Gee will serve as an adviser to SLT and its subsidiaries. This division of roles ensures a balance distribution of power and authority.
