The Board of Directors of PinePac wishes to inform that the Company had on 18 October 2024 received a Notice to Show Cause from Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad (“Bursa Securities”) informing the Company’s application on 30 August 2024 for extension of time to submit the regularisation plan pursuant to Section 8.03(A)(2) has been rejected.
Bursa Securities has given a notice that the Company has been accorded five (5) market days from 18 October 2024, i.e. on or before 25 October 2024 to make written representations supported by documentary evidence (if any) to Bursa Securities as to:
1. why a suspension should not be imposed on the trading of the securities of the Company; and 2. why the securities of the Company should not be delisted from the Official List of Bursa Securities.
Further to that, the Board hereby announces that the Company will make the written representations to Bursa Securities within the five (5) market days on or before 25 October 2024 as accorded by Bursa Securities.
