1. INTRODUCTION
The Board of Directors of AWC is pleased to announce that a tender submitted by AWFSB for facilities management and maintenance service ("the Services") for immigration, custom, quarantine and security complex at Sungai Melaka has been accepted by JKRM, and AWFSB had on today, 24 October 2024, accepted the LOA from JKRM.

2. DETAILS OF CONTRACT
The contract period shall be sixty (60) months commencing from 1 November 2024 to 31 October 2029 (“Contract Period”).

The fee for the Services is RM9,435,228.84 (inclusive of service tax) for the Contract Period.

3. RISK FACTORS
The potential risks involved in this Contract are considered normal operational risks, and are the same with all our maintenance projects undertaken.

4. FINANCIAL EFFECTS 
The Contract is expected to contribute positively to the earnings of the AWC Group over the duration of the Contract.

5. INTEREST OF DIRECTORS, MAJOR SHAREHOLDERS AND/OR PERSONS CONNECTED WITH THEM 
None of the Directors, major shareholders of AWC and/or persons connected with them has any interest, whether direct or indirect, in the Contract.

6. STATEMENT OF DIRECTORS
The Board of Directors of the Company is of the opinion that the acceptance of the LOA is in the ordinary course of business and is in the best interest of the Company.
