Reference is made to the Company’s press release dated 6 October 2022 and the Company’s announcements dated 19 October 2022, 28 March 2023, 7 April 2023, 20 April 2023, 24 May 2023, 16 June 2023, 11 July 2023, 17 July 2023, 28 July 2023, 31 July 2023, 15 August 2023, 18 August 2023, 11 October 2023, 8 December 2023, 20 March 2024, 4 September 2024 and 14 October 2024. Unless otherwise stated, the definitions and terms used herein shall have the same meaning as defined in the said announcements.

The Board of Directors of Classita wishes to announce that the Company and Caely (M) Sdn Bhd that after seeking further legal advice due to developments in Suit 133, it was decided that it is not in the best interest of the Company to pursue Suit 133 against the 3rd to 12th Defendants.

As such, the Company and Caely (M) Sdn Bhd have since discontinued Suit 133 as follows:-

1. On 29 October 2024 against Siow Hock Lee, Hem Kan @ Chan Hong Kee and Lim Say Leong;
2. On 30 October 2024 against Ng Boon Kang, Tan Loon Cheang and Gok Ching Hee;
3. On 8 November 2024 against Ooi Say Teik; and
4. On 12 November 2024 against Dato’ Wira Ng Chun Hau, Lim Chee Pang and Beh Hong Shien. 

Dato’ Wira Ng Chun Hau, Lim Chee Pang and Beh Hong Shien have also discontinued their counterclaim in Suit 133 against the Company, Caely (M) Sdn Bhd and its present and former directors.

Suit 133 is maintained against Datin Fong Nyok Yoon and Dato’ Chuah Chin Lai.

Suit 133 was fixed for case management this morning and the Court has given directions to file pre-trial documents and fixed Suit 133 for full trial from 17 November 2025 up to 20 November 2025.  The Court also fixed a further case management on 21 February 2025.

In the meantime, Suit 32 has been discontinued on 12 November 2024 against the Company and the other defendants thereof.
