Datin Suryani Binti Ahmad Sarji (Datin Suryani) commenced her career in March 1991 at Petronas Carigali Sdn Bhd, working in the Finance Department. She later joined Seacorp-Schroder Capital Management Berhad (now MIDF Amanah Asset Management Berhad) as an Investment Analyst until September 1998. In September 1998, she ventured into entrepreneurship with Digiray (M) Sdn Bhd, a retail partner to Caltex, where she led as the owner and Managing Director, overseeing operations, sales, branding and financial management. 
 
In January 2010, Datin Suryani joined Chopard (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd as a Boutique Manager, eventually becoming a country specialist in Customer Relationship Management (CRM) under Chopards global CRM system, a role she held until March 2016. 
 
Datin Suryani served as a director of Unilever (M) Sdn Bhd from September 2018 to April 2020. She sat on the board of Malaysia Airports (Niaga) Sdn Bhd (commonly known as ERAMAN) from February 2021 to September 2023. She also held the position of Independent Non-Executive Director of Globetronics Technology Berhad from May 2022 to February 2024. 
 
Currently, she serves as a director in Project Lintasan Kota Holdings Sdn Bhd and a few of its subsidiaries. She also sits on the board of MST Golf Group Berhad as an Independent Non-Executive Director.
