We refer to the Company’s announcements dated 2 May 2019, 7 May 2019, 9 May 2019 and 16 May 2019 in relation to the Offer (“Announcements”). Unless otherwise defined, the definitions set out in the Announcements shall apply herein. The Board of Directors of Lafarge wishes to announce that the Company has today received the attached press notice from Maybank IB on behalf of the Offeror, informing that the Offer Document which sets out the details, terms and conditions of the Offer, together with the Form of Acceptance and Transfer, have been despatched today to:- (i) the Board of Directors of Lafarge; and (ii) the shareholders of Lafarge whose names appear in the Record of Depositors of Lafarge as at 15 May 2019 and have a registered Malaysian address maintained with Bursa Malaysia Depository Sdn Bhd. Copies of the Offer Document and the Form of Acceptance and Transfer are attached. This announcement is dated 23 May 2019. |
