Unless otherwise stated, the abbreviations and definitions used throughout this announcement shall have the same meanings as those previously defined in the Company’s announcement dated 09 January 2025 (Reference Number: GA1-09012025-00035) in relation to the WS&SC.

The Board of Directors of CHB wishes to inform that, per the advice from the legal adviser of CISB: (a) CISB will be filing the Memorandum of Appearance and Statements of Defence for both CISB and its director namely Dato’ Sri Delon Lee Kean Yip (“LKY”) who has been served the WS&SC, and (b) an application to strike out the WS&SC by YHFV against LKY as the WS&SC filed against LKY is baseless and irrelevant where LKY is not a guarantor for the outstanding sum of USD117,470.50 (approximately RM538,014.89 based on the foreign exchange rate published by Malayan Banking Berhad as at 18 December 2024) owing by CISB to YHFV, in due course.

Further announcement on the development of the above matter will be made to Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad in due course.
