We refer to the announcements dated 12 November 2024, 19 November 2024 and 26 November 2024 in relation to the Proposals (“Announcements”). Unless otherwise defined, the definitions set out in the Announcements shall apply herein.
On behalf of the Board, Affin Hwang Investment Bank Berhad had on 26 November 2024, announced that the Company had sought the approval of Bursa Securities for the exemptions from having to extend the Exit Offer to the Minority Shareholders and the IA Appointment pursuant to Rules 8.06(1)(c) and 8.06(1)(d) of the LEAP LR, respectively (“Exemption Application”).
Pursuant thereto, Bursa Securities had, vide its letter dated 15 January 2025, resolved to approve the Exemption Application subject to the condition that the Undertaking Letters given by the Minority Shareholders remain valid and binding until the completion of the Proposed Withdrawal.
