The Board of Directors of Pansar Berhad (“Pansar”) is pleased to announce that Perbena Emas Sdn Bhd, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Pansar has received a Letter of Acceptance today from Jabatan Kerja Raya Sarawak for the design and build of the Proposed Serian-Gedong-Samarahan Dual Carriageway Highway (Package 1: Simpang Rayang/Munggu Kopi/Tanah Puteh/Sebemban to Gedong District) for Section 1B: New Road from Simpang Tanah Puteh to Gedong Isthmus (“the Project”), with a contract value of Ringgit Malaysia Four Hundred Seventy-Seven Million Six Hundred And Eighty-Nine Thousand Only (RM477,689,000.00) via invited tender.

The scope of work involves the design and construction of 8.5 kilometres of a new 4-lane JKR R5 road (dual carriageway) including two (2) bridges, an ART reserve, bicycle tracks, utility corridors, road lighting, road furniture and signs. The contract period is thirty-six (36) months and the Project is scheduled to commence in February 2025.  The contract is expected to contribute positively to the earnings and net assets of the Group as the Project progresses during the contract period.

None of the directors and/or major shareholders of Pansar or persons connected to them have any interest, direct or indirect, in the above contract.
