Professor Ho Poh Ling earned her Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting & Finance) from the University of Western Australia, Australia in 1992. She later completed a Master of Commerce (Accounting) at the University of Charles Sturt, Australia in 2001. In 2004, she further enhanced her academic credentials with a Graduate Certificate in Tertiary Teaching. Her academic journey culminated in 2009 when she was awarded a PhD in Accounting from Curtin University, Australia.  

Professor Ho Poh Ling is currently the Dean in the Faculty of Business at Curtin University, Malaysia. With over two decades of experience at Curtin, she has established herself as a thought leader in the fields of sustainability and business innovation. Her scholarly works have been widely recognized through numerous publications in the areas of corporate governance, corporate sustainability, sustainable finance, and entrepreneurship. She sits in the Management Board of Curtin University, Malaysia. 

Profession Ho Poh Ling is a Fellow of CPA Australia and a Chartered Accountant of Malaysia Institute of Accountants. She is a Divisional Councillor of CPA Australia (Malaysia).  A passionate advocate for making a meaningful societal impact, Professor Ho is deeply committed to community engagement. She works closely with schools and non-governmental organizations (NGOs) to foster financial literacy and entrepreneurial skills, empowering individuals and communities to achieve financial independence and enhance overall well-being.
