Working experience and occupation	Mr. Ahmad Luqman was the Chief Executive Officer (“CEO”) of Malaysia Aviation Group (“MAG”), Airlines Business (“Airlines (MAG)”) since January 2023. Prior to his appointment as CEO of Airlines (MAG), he was the Group Chief Operations Officer of Malaysia Airlines Berhad since February 2018. He is an internally grown talent who started his career with Malaysia Airlines Berhad as a management trainee over 20 years ago. In 2015, Mr. Ahmad Luqman held responsibility as CEO of MAB Kargo Sdn. Bhd. or MASkargo, the cargo subsidiary of MAG, a role he has held since Sept 2015. Under his tenure, MASkargo saw an 18% growth in business volume through freighter network realignment and strategic partnerships. Mr. Ahmad Luqman led a transformation programme for MASkargo that further strengthened its financial performance, air cargo service delivery and its position as the leading air cargo carrier in Malaysia. MASkargo also embarked on a digital transformation journey under Mr. Ahmad Luqman’s leadership to capitalise on the growth of e-commerce business in the region.
